TITLE:                        Substitute Cook

QUALIFICATIONS:           1.  Ability to demonstrate aptitude or competence for assigned

                                         responsibilities.

                                    2.  Ability to safely use cleaning equipment and supplies.

REPORTS TO:         Head Cook

JOB GOAL:             Assist in the operation of the kitchen by doing the jobs assigned

                            to the best of one’s ability.

PERFORMANCE RESPONSIBILITIES:

 1.  Assume duties and areas of responsibility as directed by the head cook.

 2.  Assist in food preparation, serving, daily or special cleaning, and other duties if

      assigned by the head cook.

 3.  Be punctual, neat, clean, and have a positive attitude toward associates and

      students.

 4.  Strive to do the job with minimum supervision.

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT:  Called as needed, with salary to be set by Board of

                                                   Trustees.

EVALUATION:  Performance of this job will be evaluated in accordance with

                           provisions of the Board’s Policy on Evaluations of Classified

                           Personnel.
